Baked Lean Cod or Sea Bass With Garlic Salt & Lemon Pepper

A great recipe for a quick, weeknight meal
Lean white fish needs very little to taste great. Cod and sea bass both work well here. They have mild flavor and clean texture. You don’t need breading. You don’t need a sauce. Just garlic salt, lemon pepper, and a hot oven. The fish bakes in under 15 minutes and comes out light and flaky.
This is a great recipe when you want a quick, weeknight meal. It also fits a low-carb or low-fat plan. Serve it with rice, roasted veggies, or a green salad. A few lemon slices on top add color and brightness. Fresh fillets give the best results, but frozen fish works too. Thaw it fully and pat it dry before you season. An easy, no‑breading fish recipe that lets the flavor of the fish shine.
